MATools plugins played a major role in the lighting workflow behind the Eurovision Song Contest Vienna 2026. From synchronising performance timecode with MArkersPRO, to enabling parallel programming workflows with Trader, and managing over 37,000 recipe lines using RecipeTools, the MA Tools ecosystem helped programmers work faster and more collaboratively under Eurovision’s demanding production schedule.

MATools has released an update resolving the Mac Tahoe licensing issue and several Windows activation bugs. Users should update their plugins to restore full compatibility. The team also advises against using USB hubs with the licensing system
We have identified a licensing issue with the latest Mac OS release, Mac Tahoe. As a result, plugins are currently unsupported on this version. The team is actively working on a compatibility fix and advises users not to upgrade if they rely on MATools plugins. Updates will be posted on the status page.
