Licensing Issue on Mac Tahoe

Licensing Issue on Mac Tahoe

October 2, 2025 - UK
We are aware of a licensing system issue affecting users running our plugins on the latest Mac OS release, Mac Tahoe. At this time, our plugins are not supported on this version due to compatibility issues introduced with the update.

What’s Happening?

Mac Tahoe introduces significant system-level changes that have unexpectedly impacted our licensing framework. As a result, users may experience activation failures, disrupted access, or complete inability to run plugins on this OS version.

  • Licensing Errors: Current license keys may not validate correctly on Mac Tahoe.
  • Activation Issues: Users may be unable to activate or re-activate plugins after upgrading.
  • Unsupported Environment: Until a fix is released, plugins are officially unsupported on Mac Tahoe.

What We’re Doing

Our team is working around the clock to adapt our licensing system to Apple’s new requirements. We are in the process of testing a compatibility patch and will provide regular updates as progress is made.

What You Can Do

For now, we advise against upgrading to Mac Tahoe if you rely on MATools plugins for your workflow. If you have already upgraded, we recommend temporarily using a supported version of Mac OS until compatibility is restored.
